Eight Japanese Stars Book Places At Japan Darts Masters

Eight of the best in Japanese darters have all qualified and booked their places in the Japan Darts Masters at the end of this month on the 27th-28th June.

The format of the two-day tournament sees eight Japanese representative take on eight of the best in the PDC at the Osanbashi Hall in Yokohama in a couple of weeks time.

Haruki Muramatsu heads the list of four Japanese invited players that also includes Morihiro Hashimoto, Sho Katsumi and Masumi Chino, three of which have appeared on TV in PDC events previously. A qualifying event that started out with 180 competitors finished up with  Katsuya Aiba, Yuki Yamada, Shintaro Inoue and Chikara Fujimori all qualifying for the event.

The PDC will be represented by World Number One Michael van Gerwen, sixteen-time World Champion Phil Taylor, current World Champion and Premier League Champion Gary Anderson, two-time champion of the World Adrian Lewis along with eight-time major champion James Wade, former World Championship finalist Peter Wright, former Lakeside champion Steven Bunting and five-time World Champion Raymond van Barneveld.
