• Liverpool continue to be close to an agreement for young Brazilian Roberto Firmino after a stellar early season at German side Hoffenheim and impressing at the Copa America (Telegraph)
• Chelsea are battling it out with Valencia for youngster Andrija Zivkovic who has impressed at the European Under-20 World Cup in New Zealand (ESPN)
• West Brom could be set to sign Steven Caulker from QPR and resurrect his career after a tough few seasons at Loftus Road and also at Cardiff City (Football League World)
• Newcastle United are considering a bid for Wolfsburg forward Bas Dost though they could miss out with the striker keen for Champions League football (HITC)
• Crystal Palace could turn to Hull City striker Dame N’Doye if they miss out on the signing of QPR hot-shot Charlie Austin (Football League World)
• Everton and Aston Villa are set to battle it out for Deportivo La Coruna goalkeeper Fabricio Agosto as they look to stengthen their squads ahead of next season. (HITC)

• Michu could end his Swansea City hell with a move to West Ham United for a reported £4 million fee after spending last season out on loan and there seemingly being no way back at the Liberty Stadium (Claret&Hugh)
