Hugo Lloris

The Spurs goalkeeper has been a target for Manchester united across the summer with the projected move of Spanish international goalkeeper David De Gea’s move to Real Madrid, with Lloris seen as the natural replacement to take over the reins at Old Trafford.

However with De Gea’s move to Madrid looking like it has collapsed, Louis van Gaal’s move for the French international number one could be put on the back-burner should Madrid’s expected appeal fail. With Sergio Romero currently holding the fort for United, van Gaal is unlikely to risk adding a third international goalkeeper but should the appeal for Madrid succeed, look for Lloris to make the move north.

The goalkeeper has played 122 times for the White Hart Lane based side since making the move from Lyon in 2013 and has been a big success for Spurs. He suffered a broken wrist at the start of the summer but has recovered enough to play a part in the North London clubs mediocre start to the season.
