Manchester United travelled to the Emirates in confident mood and why not; They were top of the league and had just got their first win of their European campaign in the Champions League.

Van Gaal had an assured and bullish aura before the game stating they were at the Emirates to win.

That confidence and aura vanished almost as quickly as Arsenal managed to move the ball, as a 20 minute salvo destroyed United and any chance of points at the Emirates with an Alexi Sanchez double and a majestic finish by Mesut Ozil resulting in a disappointing 0-3 defeat.
