Plymouth Argyle vs Exeter City

What a game this could turn out to be. League leaders Plymouth welcome fierce rivals Exeter to Home Park in the first Devon Derby of the season. The Pilgrims, who beat the Grecians earlier this season in the Johnstones Paint Trophy, won both fixtures last season, giving them the opportunity to record three successive league wins over their rivals. If they succeed, then Derek Adams’s side could also increase their lead at the top of the table. The Grecians are without a win on the road in three, whilst Plymouth have won their last four home games.

Dagenham and Redbridge vs Oxford United

2nd placed Oxford will be looking to keep the pressure on Plymouth when they travel to League Two strugglers Dagenham. The U’s, who have lost just once from their last ten league games, beat the Daggers at Victoria Road last week in the Johnstones Paint Trophy. In the league, Wayne Burnett’s side have had the same poor form, failing to win in ten and are without a win at home this season.

Notts County vs Northampton Town

Northampton have moved up to 3rd following last weekend’s win, and Chris Wilder’s side travel to Notts County this Saturday. The Cobblers are unbeaten in four, but have won just once from their last four away games in the league, whilst the Magpies, who didn’t play last weekend, are also unbeaten in four and have won their last two games at Meadow Lane.

Cambridge United vs Accrington Stanley

Despite a 2-2 draw against Newport last weekend, Accrington are still flying high in League Two. John Coleman’s side have won three from their last six games, and they travel to the Abbey Stadium to face a Cambridge side that have won just twice from their last six after losing at Oxford last weekend.

Carlisle United vs Portsmouth

Portsmouth missed the opportunity to move back into the automatic promotion places last weekend following a goalless draw at home to Wimbledon. The result leaves Paul Cook’s side without a win in four as they prepare to travel to Carlisle. As for the Cumbrians, they lost on the road last time out, but have won back to back games at Brunton Park.

Mansfield Town vs Hartlepool United

Mansfield suffered a disappointing defeat at Northampton last weekend, and they’ll be looking to bounce back when Hartlepool visit Field Mill. That said, Adam Murray’s Stags have lost their previous two home games having previously recorded a comfortable home run, but the Pools, despite beating Leyton Orient last time out, are still struggling for form following just one win in four.

Leyton Orient vs York City

Leyton Orient will be looking to consolidate their play-off position when strugglers York visit Brisbane Road. But the O’s have won just once from their last six games, losing three, however the Minstermen are without a win in eleven games including five without victory on the road.

AFC Wimbledon vs Wycombe Wanderers

Wimbledon held Portsmouth to a goalless draw last weekend, whilst Wycombe saw their game postponed due to international call-ups. The Dons, having previously won three in succession, are now unbeaten in four, whilst the Chairboys have won just twice from their last six games in the league.

Barnet vs Morecambe

Barnet suffered their first defeat in five last weekend, and they’ll be looking to bounce back when Morecambe visit The Hive. The Bees have won their last two home games, whilst Morecambe have fared better on the road this season in what could be an interesting tie.

Crawley Town vs Bristol Rovers

Having won just their second home win of the season last weekend, Bristol Rovers will look to capitalise when they visit Crawley. The Red Devil’s, who secured a late point at Exeter last weekend, are unbeaten in three but have won their last three home games, whilst the Gas have won their last four games on the road.

Stevenage vs Luton Town

Stevenage head into their game with Luton off the back of a late equaliser at strugglers Yeovil. The result left Teddy Sheringham’s side without a win in four, and face a Luton side that have won back to back league games following last weekend’s victory over Barnet.

Newport County vs Yeovil Town

Yeovil Town are one of the league’s out-of-form sides, and they travel to a Newport side that have been resurgent under new manager John Sheridan. The Exiles are unbeaten in four games, but are yet to win at Rodney Parade this season, whilst the Glovers have failed to win in nine and are without a win on the road in four attempts.
