2. Ronnie Baxter

As someone who has been around for donkey’s years and has played in major tournaments over the last four decades, Baxter still finds enough form to keep himself in the worlds top 32 though he is starting to edge towards the drop zone as we’d like to call it.

Baxter is arguably one of the most talented darts player’s that has never won the world title, though he got perilously close in the BDO in the late 1990s. He is remembered for his epic battles with many an opponent in both the BDO and the PDC nad with a little more consistency, he could have won a number of major titles but has always been the bridesmaid rather than the bride.

With more and more players now in the PDC, the talent has made a massive difference and there is a sea of change on the horizon. Baxter manages to find enough form to put on a run once a year to keep his place in the top 32 but we have to ask the question, just how much longer can he do this?
