• West Ham are preparing a second bid for Everton winger Kevin Mirallas to replace the departed Stewart Downing who has moved to Middlesbrough (Clubcall)
• Thomas Mueller is open to a move to Manchester United as they prepare a huge bid for the German and Bayern Munich striker (London Standard)
• Manchester United are hoping to sign Argentina’s international goalkeeper Sergio Romero as a replacement for the outgoing Victor Valdes (HITC)
• Aston Villa, West Ham and Arsenal are locked in a battle for Italian international striker Mattia Destro who is keen on leaving Serie A side Roma (Express)
• Aston Villa are the latest side to be keeping tabs on QPR striker Charlie Austin whilst also noting their interest in Spurs striker Emmanuel Adebayor (SuttonColdfield Observer)
• Rickie Lambert looks set to end his Anfield nightmare with a move to the Hawthorns to play under Tony Pulis at West Brom (EmpireoftheKop)
• Tottenham are the latest club to enter the race to sign Manchester United’s Mexican international Javier Hernandez and are looking to offer £8 million (HITC)
• Everton face a battle to hold onto their highly rated defender John Stones as Chelsea have earmarked him as John Terry’s successor and are preparing a £34 million bid (Clubcall)
• Didier Drogba could be the latest name to make the move across the pond to play in the MLS with Canadian side Montreal Impact keen on the Ivorian striker (Mirror)
• Everton manager Roberto Martinez could be set to move for Barcelona midfielder Sergi Roberto who has struggled for playing time at the Nou Camp (TheEvertonForum)
• Leicester are still hoping they can persuade Esteban Cambiasso to return to the club despite the Argentine holding talks with West Ham over a move to the Hammers (Yahoo)
