Leicester vs Arsenal: Match Preview

Arsenal on the other hand haven’t had the most convincing start to the Premier League, and their struggle to score goals is still a major worry. The Gunners have only scored five goals this season compared to Leicester’s 13, two of the five being own goals.

However, Leicester’s poor defensive record could be an area Arsenal can exploit, and could be a perfect opportunity for Theo Walcott to prove his critics wrong who doubt his ability in a more central role.

Arsenal will also be boosted by the return of Santi Cazorla who returns from his one game suspension, the Spaniard has created 23 goal scoring chances this season, the most in the Premier League so far.

The Gunners will also be hoping Francis Coquelin will be fit enough to play, after he suffered a knee injury in their 2-0 defeat to Chelsea. Although Mathieu Flamini’s incredible performance in the League Cup suggests he could slot in that holding midfield role for a short period of time.

This game has the potential to be a cracker, both teams have incredibly talented players going forward, but also have defensive frailties that could be exploited.
