Kell Brook faces his toughest test to date on Saturday when he takes on rising star Frankie Gavin in a domestic clash that boxing pundits are excitedly looking forward too at the 02 Arena in London on Saturday.

Brook won the IBF World Welterweight title back in August with a majority decision against Shawn Porter in California and in March defended his title for the first time with a stoppage of Romanian Jo Jo Dan but he goes up against Gavin, who has only lost once in his career to Leonard Bundu, with pundits predicting a close fight.

Brook was hoping for a clash with British Welterweight King Amir Khan but the former Olympic silver medalist instead took a fight with Chris Algieri on Friday night in New York.

Elsewhere on the card Anthony Joshua faces his biggest challenge to date as he takes on the veteran Kevin Johnson with both sides predicting a knock-out victory. Joshua has yet to be seriously tested in his career and though the veteran Johnson has fought some of the toughest heavyweights in the world, a win for Joshua is what most inside boxing are predicting.

Kevin Mitchell also makes a step-up as he looks to win the WBC Lightweight belt in a clash with Venezuela’s Jorge Linares with Mitchell hoping to fulfill the potential that has always been there for the London born fighter. Lee Selby also goes for a world title as he takes on Russia’s Evgeny Gradovich for the IBF featherweight title.

Whatever happens this week Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Sports company are sure to offer some of the best of British talent on offer as boxing fan’s are being treated to an era of boxing greatness.
