Ronnie O’Sullivan has criticised the standard of refereeing in Snooker in his latest blog at Eurosport
The controversial potter has had his run-ins with the sport in recent years and in his most recent blog was highly critical of referee Terry Camilleri, who was in charge of his quarter-final defeat to eventual 2015 World Snooker Champion Stuart Bingham as he said on Eurosport “The referee who was overseeing my game with Stuart Bingham kept walking around the table while I was on the shot”
Whilst not blaming defeat on the referee, the 5 time World Snooker Champion has conceded he did not play enough games in is quest to regain the title he last won in 2013, whilst also advising Ding Junhui to play more often if he is realise his talent and become world champion.
The ‘Rocket’ has repeatedly been at odds with Snooker supremo Barry Hearn for the amount of tournaments players have to play on the tour and his latest comments will surely not sit well with the sports mogul who has transformed the game since being put in charge at the WPBSA.
