Uwe Rosler has been appointed the new Leeds United Head Coach on a two-year contract replacing the popular Neil Redfearn who’s contract as Head Coach was due to end in the summer.
Rosler will be Leeds United’s 5th managerat Elland Road since April 2014 when Brian McDermott was the first to be sacked before being followed by David Hockaday and Darko Milanic before Redfearn was appointed in November 2014 and oversaw an upturn in fortunes for the beleaguered club who under controversial Chairman Massimo Cellino, have suffered mixed fortunes.
Former Barnsley player Redfearn has been offered his old role as Head of Academy at Leeds United but has yet to decide if he is to take up the offer.
Rosler was most recently in charge at Wigan Athletic but was booted out in November having left Brentford for the Latics in December 2013.
