10 Players we’d like to see in the Premier League

There are now so many star names in the Premier League, both this season and in previous years, and we have been spoilt by the quality that we have see over the years. But it got us thinking at The Sports Lowdown; what 10 players would we most like to see in the Premier that we have yet to see and which team would we like to see the player playing for?

1. Lionel Messi

In my opinion the greatest player I have ever seen play and that includes Diego Maradona. He scores goals, assists goals and does it all in the right manner. Messi has won, amongst others, 7 La Liga Titles and 4 UEFA Champions Leagues. His goals record for Barcelona is a staggering 286 goals in 315 games.

Team we believe would best suit him – Arsenal.

Their fluid style of play with players such as Cazorla, Ozil, Wilshere and Ramsey, linking up with him would be a joy to watch. Arsenal’s only downside is that they don’t seem to splash the cash under Arsene Wenger and they also have a wage structure that they like to keep too. However would they make an exception for Messi?

2. Neymar Jnr

Yes he falls at the slightest touch but his goal scoring record is phenomenal, 44 goals in 60 appearances for Brazil. He is still young at 23 years of age, and will only improve. The Barcelona forward has already won 10 club honours in his young career.

Team we believe would best suit him – Manchester City.

With players of the ability of Nasri and Silva creating changes and his link up with Aguero, it would make them a potent weapon. Manchester City also have the money to bag the Brazilian and it would not surprise us to see him in the Premier League before his career is over.
