Manchester United winger Nani has completed his move to Turkish side Fenerbache in a deal worth £4.3 million.
The Portugal international, who spent last season on loan at his former club Sporting Lisbon, has accepted the offer from the Turkish Süper Lig runners-up having finalised the transfer over the weekend.
The winger signed for the Red Devil’s in 2007, and he went on to score 41 goals from 230 appearances.
During his Old Trafford tenure, Nani won four Premier League titles, one League Cup, four Community Shields and one Fifa Club World Cup. He was also part of the United squad that won the 2008 Champions League, scoring one of the penalties in the decisive shootout.
The winger was largely under his Portuguese team-mate, Cristiano Ronaldo’s, shadow during his time in Manchester, but when Ronaldo left to join Real Madrid, Nani was unable to completely fill the void, despite, on his day, being one of the strongest wingers in the Premier League.
Nani could face his former employers as early as next month, as Fenerbache are one of the potential opponents for Manchester United in their Champions League qualifier.
