Replacements for Esteban Cambiasso

The Foxes have shown interest in SM Caen’s N’golo Kante but it seems he favours a move to Olympique Marseille. Leicester’s offer of £7 million was more appealing to Caen than Marseille’s £5 million, but it was Kante’s hesitance which halted communication between the clubs a few weeks back as he is still holding out for an improved offer from the Ligue 1 club.

Kante is shaping up to be a good player at the age of 24 with his tackling and ball interception being the strengths in his game. The Frenchman would fit quite well into Leicester’s central midfield to give the defence a bit of support, but if he isn’t really interested in joining the club he probably isn’t the best option for the Foxes.
