2. Saido Berahino to Tottenham
Berahino has been heralded as one of the best youngsters England have and Tottenham have recognised his talent in making an £18m bid for the 22-year-old. The North London club hope to partner the West Brom forward upfront with fellow England striker, Harry Kane.
There’s no denying that a Kane and Berahino partnership would flourish and produce plenty of goals for Spurs as the two strikers have two very different playing styles with Berahino being more of a pacy forward, aiming to run in behind the defensive line and get on the end of Eriksen’s through-balls whilst Kane is more dominant in the air and will contribute more defensively.
Tottenham have had a first bid of £18m bid rejected by West Brom but they plan on making a second bid of £22m in hope that they Midlands club will eventually accept their demands. The 22-year-old striker scored 14 goals in 38 Premier League games and has been likened to Jermaine Defoe.
