The BDO Ladies dart scene is arguably at its most competitive and despite the lack of tournaments and prize money on offer to keep the ladies happy within the game, they are still attracting the likes of Sherrock, who has also dabbled in playing the PDC tours.
Sherrock made her breakthrough in the 2014 World Championships losing out in the quarter-final in 2014 to Anastasia Dobromyslova but her big breakthrough came in 2015 where she made it all the way to the Lakeside final but she ultimately lost out to Lisa Ashton.
She currently sits at number 2 in the rankings behind Deta Hedman and has had many impressive victories on the floor and with a thriving top table in women’s darts, Sherrock is one that will no doubt go on to achieve the ultimate in the ladies game and become a world champion. She may also attempt to cause a stir and challenge the men on the PDC circuit and had more than held her own on the youth tour and with opportunites limited in the BDO, she could combine both tours which can only be good for her game.
