Poole Pirates have moved to the top of the Elite League table after a 53-40 victory over play-off rivals Belle Vue.
It was a successful evening for Dakota North who produced an untouched paid maximum, with reserve Kyle Newman adding a further paid 13.
The Pirates stated their intent from the off as North and Chris Holder gave the hosts the early advantage, before Newman showcased his skills in the following heat.
Former Pirate Josh Grajczonek managed a heat win in the fourth, before the referee was called into action surrounding an incident in heat five.
Shortly after, Matej Zagar was on call for double points in a tactical Aces ride, and despite Zagar winning the heat, Dave Watt held off Scott Nicholls to prevent the visitors claiming a maximum.
Craig Cook then won in heat seven, getting the better of Holder, before Newman extended the Pirates lead with another strong ride.
By heat nine, the Aces were thirteen points behind the hosts, but the Pirates continued their impressive ride, as Maciej Janowski stormed past Zagar with Watt backing up.
And as the evening drew to a close, Newman continued to impress as the Pirates rounded off an impressive team display .
The Pirates have overtaken the Coventry Bees to take top spot in the Elite League, but have raced two more meetings. The result has put a dent in the Aces play-off ambitions, but they remain third.
