2. Serge Aurier

Branislav Ivanovic has had a woeful start to the season and with his contract expiring at the end of the season it may be time Chelsea start looking at replacements. Aurier would be a superb replacement, he’s very good defensively and is far quicker then Ivanovic who seems to have lost that yard of pace over the last year.

Having Aurier at right back would allow Mourinho to play a higher defensive line which he’s been trying without success so far this season. He’s good going forward and a good crosser of the ball and with his game time at PSG possibly limited due to Gregory van der Wiel holding his spot he could be available and a cheap option for the ‘Special One’.

Aurier could also find his chances of earning more game time at PSG further diminished in January with the French giants eyeing up a swoop for Everton and Republic of Ireland defender Seamus Coleman.
