This week in the NFL we had a lot a big results. The Packers got revenge from last years NFC Championship game with a 27-17 win over the Seattle Seahawks. Other big results were the Cardinals 42-23 win over the Chicago Bears and the Patriots had a 40-32 win over the Bills.
There is currently 9 teams with a perfect 2-0 record after the first 2 games. Here is 5 things we learnt from Week 2.
The 49ers aren’t the team they were in the last few seasons
After being in the NFC Championship in the 2011 and 2013 season and the Superbowl in the 2012 season the 49ers looked to be going through a period where they managed to consistantly do good in the NFC. However last year they just managed to miss out on a Wild card place when their form dipped towards the end of the season. People thought that they may have just had bad luck and expected them to do well this season. This seemed the case after a 20-3 win over the Vikings in the first week.
However this all went to waste after the Steelers ripped them apart this week as the 49ers lost 43-18. The team that is usually a rushing team scored no rushing touchdowns though they did have 2 passing touchdowns. Defensively they were shocking and the Steelers took advantage. However the Offense wasn’t good and the 49er’s may have to wait a few years before a next play-off place, however the Steelers may be a hard team to beat and it looks like they could make the play-offs comfortably.
