Portsmouth vs Exeter City

New league leaders Portsmouth welcome Exeter to Fratton Park with the south coast club looking to extend their unbeaten record. Pompey have been performing very well in the opening stages of the season, and last weekend’s win at Bristol Rovers moved Paul Cook’s side top, whilst successive defeats for the Grecians has seen Paul Tisdale’s side drop to 14th, despite a positive start to their season.

Wycombe Wanderers vs Cambridge United

2nd placed Wycombe welcome a Cambridge side that recorded their first win in five to Adams Park this Tuesday. The Chairboys, who lost their last home game against Plymouth, will be looking to consolidate their league position, whilst the U’s will be looking to record back to back wins for the first time this season, and they’ll be hoping that Barry Corr can end his recent goal drought having netted five from his opening three games.

Leyton Orient vs Carlisle United

Leyton Orient have let slip of top spot in League Two after last weekend’s 1-1 draw, their third in succession, and welcome Carlisle to Brisbane Road. The O’s haven’t won in four, whilst the Cumbrians, who are the league’s top scoring side, suffered their first defeat in six last time out, and will be looking to bounce back. Both sides have a prolific goalscorer among their ranks, with Carlisle’s Jabo Ibehre netting eight and the O’s Jay Simpson scoring six.

Plymouth Argyle vs Barnet

Accrington Stanley vs Yeovil Town

The league’s in-form side Accrington welcome one of the early season strugglers Yeovil to the Crown Ground. Stanley are unbeaten in seven league games, and are up to 5th after an impressive run, helped by goals from Billy Kee and Josh Windass. As for Yeovil, their successive relegations has clearly demoted the Glovers, who have won only twice this season and sit just above the drop.

York City vs Oxford United

York City, who haven’t won in three since a victory at Newport, welcome an Oxford side that also haven’t won in three. Both sides have drawn twice in their last three, and will be looking for wins for different with the U’s looking to consolidate a play-off place whilst the Minstermen will be looking to push clear of the drop in a repeat fixture of the 2010 Conference play-off final, in which the U’s won 3-1 at Wembley.

Morecambe vs Luton Town

Morecambe welcome Luton to the Globe Arena with the visitors having won two games in succession. The Shrimps, who lost their last home game, had previously hit a good run of form, which included eleven goals in three games, whilst the Hatters’ successive wins has lifted John Still’s side clear of the drop and has restored confidence in the Kenilworth Road camp.

AFC Wimbledon vs Northampton Town

Northampton have moved up the table after a run of three games unbeaten, and face a Dons side that have had an inconsistent season. Neal Ardley’s side, who are without the suspended Karleigh Osborne, have won their last two games at Kingsmeadow, but Northampton were as impressive in their last away game, winning 4-2 at Morecambe.

Stevenage vs Mansfield Town

Teddy Sheringham’s Stevenage will be looking to avoid their third successive defeat when Mansfield visit the Lamex Stadium. The Boro have suffered back to back defeats, dropping them near the relegation zone, whilst Adam Murray’s Stags have lost just once in their last six games, leaving them just outside the playoffs.

Hartlepool United vs Bristol Rovers

Hartlepool ended a run of seven games without victory as Ronnie Moore’s men won at Yeovil last time out, and the Pools welcome Bristol Rovers to Victoria Park this Tuesday. The Gas haven’t won in five, picking up just one point in those games, and Darrell Clarke’s side will he looking to turn their form around.

Dagenham and Redbridge vs Notts County

Dagenham welcome Notts County to Victoria Road, with the hosts looking for their first win in four. The Daggers last win came at Northampton, but three uninspiring results have seen Wayne Burnett’s side drop to one place above the relegation zone. As for Notts County, they’ve turned their season around. After a poor start, the Magpies have won their last three as Ricardo Moniz looks to lead his side to promotion.

Newport County vs Crawley Town

The bottom two in League Two meet at Rodney Parade as Newport welcome Crawley. The Exiles won their first game of the season last weekend, whilst Crawley have suffered four straight defeats and haven’t won in five. Both have had a dismal start to the season, and a win against a ‘relegation rival’ could boost them as we head into October.
