The invitations for the World Series Finals set to be held in Glasgow in November have been confirmed.
Eight seeded players who have qualified by right through the five World Series events held throughout the calendar year will be joined by twelve invited players, and four qualifiers, who will be confirmed following the qualifying event on 23rd October in Coventry.
Three-time winner on the World Series this year Phil Taylor will joined by Michael van Gerwen, Adrian Lewis, Peter Wright, Raymond van Barneveld, James Wade, Gary Anderson and Stephen Bunting as the eight seeded players.
European Darts Trophy Champion Michael Smith will appear as one of the invited players, as will fellow Englishman Keegan Brown.
Devon Peterson from South Africa, Australian Kyle Anderson, Welshman Jamie Lewis, Rowby-John Rodriguez of Austria will be joined by Dutchman Benito van de Pas and young German star Max Hopp as invited players from around the World.
Robert Thornton, Ian White, Dave Chisnall and Simon Whitlock are the next four players in the PDC Order Of Merit not already to be picked for the inaugural World Series Finals and have also received invitations.
