A review of all this weekend’s Premier League action, including the big clash of Chelsea and Liverpool.
Saturday
Chelsea V Liverpool, 12:45, Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea host Liverpool in the first kick off of the weekend, Chelsea will be looking to find some form desperately as they currently sit 15th in the league table, while Liverpool will be looking to give their enthusiastic new manager a first Premier League win.
Crystal Palace V Manchester United, 15:00, Selhurst Park.
United travel to London in a game they’ll feel confident of winning. Palace have had stuttering form of late, after such an impressive start to the season. The Red Devils played a good game last week when they hosted noisy neighbours Manchester City and if they can take that form into this match then they should be travelling back to Manchester with all three points.
Manchester City V Norwich, 15:00, Etihad Stadium.
City should win this, comfortably. Norwich have struggled of late and will go there playing very defensively, waiting to pounce on a counter attack. Manchester City jumped back to the summit of the league when they picked a point at Old Trafford and will be looking to put three more points on the board here.
Newcastle United V Stoke, 15:00, St James’ Park.
Stoke have recently got into some very good form, but Newcastle seem to be on the rise too. With the awful decision to send off the skipper last week, which effectively lost them the match they were playing very well until then. Both teams will fancy themselves and there could be a lot of goals in this one.
Swansea V Arsenal, 15:00, The Liberty Stadium.
Arsenal have been in some fine form of late. Nothing but an Arsenal win here if they keep playing the way they do. They have a real chance to challenge for the title this year, and it looks like their team are very slick with Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil running the show, week in week out.
