6. Mercedes AMG F1 W06 Hybrid
This may come across as a controversial choice to some, but in our book, Mercedes AMG Petronas’ 2015 challenger rightfully deserves a place amongst the prettiest F1 cars of all time. The 2015 rule-book featured changes in an effort to improve the overall looks of the cars which were especially pointed towards the noses of the cars. Gone were the extreme nose designs from 2014 whilst the minimum height of the nose was decreased to improve both safety and aesthetics. The engineers and designers at Brackley made the best of the new regulations and found themselves with not only another dominant package on their hands, but with one of the most eye-catching and stunning F1 cars of the modern era. From the smooth sloped monocoque front to the incredibly appealing nose design to the sparkling silver-turquoise livery that rightfully respects the legacy of the Silver Arrows, there’s no single reason why this car should be overlooked by F1 car enthusiasts. It looks fabulous on the TV coverage and ever better in real life and just like Lewis Hamilton after winning a race in it, you just can’t help but give this beauty a friendly pat.
