With clubs constantly linked with moves for new players, here at The Sports Lowdown, we’ll bring you the latest transfer rumours and which players could be making a move in January.

Premier League and Europe:

• West Ham have insisted that defender James Tomkins will not leave Upton Park to re-unite with former manager Sam Allardyce at Sunderland. (Daily Mail)
• Manchester United and Tottenham will go head-t0-head to sign Sunderland’s 21-year-old keeper Jordan Pickford. (Daily Star)
• Japanese midfielder Keisuke Honda could well be on his way to the Premier League in January with both Everton and Tottenham interested in his services. (Daily Express)
• Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele has agreed to join Italian side Napoli in January. (Talksport)
• French forward Antoine Griezmann is a target for Real Madrid so he can partner fellow countryman Karim Benzema. However, Arsenal and Manchester United are both interested and could rival the Spanish club. (Talksport)
• Brazilian wonderkid Luis Henrique is on Arsene Wenger’s radar with the Gunners reportedly keen to land the 17-year-old striker in the next transfer window. (Metro)
• Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham have been told to make a considerable offer in order to sign PSG defender Adrien Rabiot after he decided he wanted to leave the French champions. (Express)
• Liverpool are reportedly interested in bringing in Napoli midfielder Jorginho who could be available for around £22 million. However, it is reported Manchester United are also monitoring the situation. (Telegraph)
