With clubs constantly linked with moves for new players, here at The Sports Lowdown, we’ll bring you the latest transfer rumours and which players could be making a move in January.

Premier League:

• Liverpool have had an informal approach welcomed by FC Porto for 18-year-old midfielder Ruben Neves. (Daily Mirror)
• Arsenal could potentially make a move for Real Madrid striker Jese Rodriguez who has struggled to start many games this season over in Spain. (Daily Mirror)
• The Gunners have also been told that it will cost them around £18.5 million to sign Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato from Corinthians. (Daily Mirror)
• Newcastle will not be making a move for Spanish goalkeeper Victor Valdes despite Tim Krul being ruled out for the season. (Newcastle Chronicle)
• Oguzhan Ozyakup looks likely to move to the Premier League with Sunderland being linked to the 22-year-old midfielder. (Sunderland Echo)
• Out of favour Leicester City midfielder Dean Hammond could make a loan switch to local Championship side Nottingham Forest (LCFC World Blog)
• Spanish newspaper AS have reported that Chelsea are trying to complete a stunning four way deal for boss Diego Simeone and players Antoine Griezmann, Diego Godin and Koke. (Daily Star)
• The Blues are also keen on signing Roma defender Kostas Manolas with Mourinho reportedly stepping up his interest in the Greek international. (Metro)
• Bournemouth, Watford and West Ham are all interested in a move for Lazio midfielder Senad Lulic who is keen on a move to the Premier League (Talksport)
• Manchester United forward Bebe has not ruled out a return to the club with the 25-year-old currently playing on loan at Rayo Vallecano from Benfica. (Publico)
• World Cup winner Benedikt Howedes could be making a move to the Premier League with Arsenal and Liverpool keen on the services of the defender (AstralFootball)
• Aston Villa could be in for on-loan Crystal Palace striker Patrick Bamford with his side Chelsea reportedly keen to pull the plug on his loan at Selhurst Park (HITC)
