Only two spots are up for grabs in the eight-man showdown finale held at the O2 Arena in London November 15.

Rafael Nadal (5) and Tomas Berdych (6) recently punched out their tickets with a semifinal and quarterfinal effort at the Shanghai Masters 1000.

The Spaniard has qualified for 11 consecutive seasons and has reached the tournament final on two occasions in 2010 and 2013.

Berdych, who claimed his 11th career ATP title in Shenzen this year, will make his sixth appearance in a row.

Stan Wawrinka (4), the French Open champion, clinched his spot last week after winning his fourth title of the season at the Rakuten Japan Open.

Roger Federer (3) will come back for the 14th time after reaching the final at the US OPEN while adding five ATP crowns to his majestic career.

Britain’s Andy Murray (2) qualified at an early stage. Murray reached the Australian Open final and was a semi-finalist at Roland Garros and Wimbledon 2015.

The Scot also claimed two World Tour Master 1000 at Madrid and Montreal making him the second player to qualify for the final event.

The world’s number one Novak Djokovic will look to finish on a high note his brilliant 2015 season. With three Grand Slams titles, champion at five ATP World Tour Master 1000 and showing an impressive 73-5 match record, Djokovic enters the tournament as the clear favorite and will try to win for the fourth consecutive year at the London O2 Arena.

Nishikori and Ferrer are front runners for the two remaining spots

Kei Nishikori, winner at Washington, Barcelona, and Memphis, is next in line to ensure his journey to the season-ending Masters.

The Japanese star is 335 points behind sixth place Berdych and has a 500 point lead over Spaniard David Ferrer.

Ferrer, this year’s winner at Acapulco, Kuala Lumpur, Doha and Rio de Janeiro, will look to grasp his place this week in Vienna as he is the top seed at the Erste Bank Open.

Jo-Wilfred Tsonga came back into the London race after reaching the finals in Shanghai.

The effort placed him back in the top ten, but still is 995 points behind number eight Ferrer. Tsonga will also participate in the Vienna Open.

Richard Gasquet, who is seeded second in Stockholm this week, will look to take his chances in the bid for London.

The number 10 in the world is a 1000 points behind and has slim chances to make a presence in the season finale.

The Paris ATP World Tour Masters 1000 will be the last stop before the Barclays Championship.
