This Championship season has had its ups and its downs both on and off the pitch as well as a fair share of drama. But all that’s left is four teams in the Play-offs to decide the final promotion spot to the Premier League. The final at Wembley is always a great game and a spectacle to watch.
Last year Norwich beat Middlesbrough 2-0 at Wembley to get promotion, however they look likely to be coming back down, whilst Boro bounced back to gain automatic promotion this year. This year the prize for winning is more than normal as the new TV deal with Premier League clubs is worth about £100 million.
This year Brighton and Hove Albion (3rd), Hull City (4th), Derby County (5th) and Sheffield Wednesday (6th) will all compete for the final place in next years Premier League. Brighton will face Sheffield and Hull will face Derby in the semi-finals, then the two winners will meet at Wembley.
