Newcastle United have signed Dwight Gayle from Crystal Palace for £10M.
Gayle, who has netted 15 times in 64 appearances in the Premier League, has struggled for regular playing time under Alan Pardew at Crystal Palace having made just 16 appearances last season despite being fit for a majority of the matches.
His arrival at St. James’ Park has been followed by Andros Towsend’s move in the opposite direction, whose signing was completed shortly after Gayle’s switch was announced.
