Crystal Palace have singed Belgium international, Christian Benteke, from Liverpool for a club record fee.
The 25 year old, who was signed by the Reds in July 2015 for £32.5 million, arrives a Selhurst Park for a reported fee of around £27 million.
The Belgium international, who has signed a four year deal, only managed ten goals for Liverpool, and only started eight games under new manager Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.
He becomes Palace’s fourth signing of the summer after Andros Townsend, James Tomkins and Steve Mandanda.
“I’m very happy to commit my future to Crystal Palace,” Benteke said.
“I feel really happy that the deal has been done and now I can look forward.”
Benteke signed for Aston Villa after a successful season with Belgium side Genk, and went on to score 42 goals in 89 appearances for the Villans, but failed to impress during his time at Anfield.
