England claimed a hard-fought win in the third and final match of their one-day series against Bangladesh to clinch the it 2-1.
After winning the toss and choosing to bowl, England failed to take wickets with the new ball as the Bangladesh openers looked comfortable at the crease.
The seamers were bowling too short, and were frequently being dispatched to the boundary. However, they eventually got the breakthrough with the score on 80 after the introduction of Ben Stokes.
Bangladesh did not allow this to set them back as they looked to continue to score freely, but kept getting pegged back by the English spinners, with Rashid picking up 4-43 from his ten overs.
At 192-6, England would have hoped to keep the hosts under 250, but a great partnership between Mushfiqur Rahim (67)* and Mosaddek Saikat (39)* got their side up to a highly competitive score of 277-6 with the pitch offering a lot of turn for their spinners.
In reply, England also got off to a good start with Sam Billings looking comfortable at the crease after making his first appearance of the series.
Him and Vince were playing some lovely shots up until Vince got pinned in front against the off-spin of Hossain, looking to work the ball into the leg side.
However, Billings and Ben Duckett continued to play positively, not allowing any of the spinners to settle into a rhythm.
Annoyingly for England, neither could go on and get a big score, as they stuttered slightly during the middle overs. Duckett went for a well-played 63 shortly after Bairstow had been cleaned bowled, leaving England on 179-4.
Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler then looked to be guiding their side to a comfortable victory, before the latter and then Moeen Ali were out in quick succession, giving Bangladesh some much-needed confidence.
Stokes and Chris Woakes looked to see England home, though, their partnership should have been broken when Woakes was dropped at slip by Imrul Kayes.
Stokes continued to bat calmly, playing an aggressive shot when needed, and ended on 47* while Woakes hit the winning six to guide England to a four-wicket victory to claim the series win.
