5 WWE Wrestlers of the 1990s That Could have Superstars

It goes without saying that with any sport, it’s competitors evolve and move on and the world of wrestling is no different. It goes without saying that the WWE is currently entering another stage of its cycle as new superstars replace the old crop of out-dated superstars.

In the first of a series of articles, here on The Sports Lowdown our Editor Andy Moore takes a look at 5 former WWE superstars that had a massive impact in the 1990’s but for the large part, no longer crop up in the Wrestling arena except in sporadic appearances.

There are those that from time-to-time still pop up such as a Hulk Hogan, The Rock, Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold Steve Austin, but we bypass those who still pop their head above the surface and look at those who are likely to not feature in the WWE again with some already sadly having passed away.
