Henrik Stenson

Big hitting Swede Stenson is arguably the best player currently competing not to have won a Major. He has been close many times before, achieving four top finishes since 2013.

The world number five is yet to win a tournament this year, but he has not missed a cut since January. Stenson came 4th in the tournament last year, and he continues to get closer to becoming a Major winner, he will fancy his chances of finally breaking his duck this time around.

Jason Day

27 year old Day is still in the early stages of his career, but has already had a big impact in Major tournaments. He has only played in the US Open four times, yet he has already managed three top five finishes.

Day is currently ranked at the tenth best player in the world, and the young Australian found himself as high as 4th earlier this year. Day has missed the cut at the last two events he has played in, but the Australian will fancy his chances at Chambers Bay if he can get back to his best.
