It will be a busy day at the Dutch Darts Masters in Venray later today as the round of sixteen, quarter-finals, semi-finals and the final will all be played on the final day of the fourth European Tour event of the year.

The quarter-finalists will be decided in the round of sixteen in the afternoon session, and the rest of the tournament will be completed in the evening session. All matches are the best of eleven legs.

David Pallett has played well this weekend, and shocked James Wade on Saturday in the last 32 and will be confident of making the quarter-finals. However, Jamie Caven whitewashed John Henderson 6-0, and will also be full of confidence going into this clash.

There will be hurricane warnings in Venray as Kim Huybrechts takes on Ian White in the second match of the afternoon. Huybrechts survived a last leg decider against William O’Connor to get here whilst Ian White saw off home favourite Jeffery de Zwann.

Nathan Aspinall has had a fantastic weekend so far, but will it continue? After knocking out Vincent van der Voort in the last round, he will come up against Justin Pipe, who like many others, survived a last leg decider to make it this far.

Michael Smith produced a solid performance to see off John Michael 6-1 in the last stage of the competition, and Josh Payne is the man standing between him and the place in the last eight who saw off Steven Bunting on Saturday, and will be likely to punish any mistake that Michael Smith makes.

Kyle Anderson will face-off with Steven Beaton in the fifth match of the afternoon. Anderson sent Peter Wright packing on Saturday, capitalising on some poor finishing, whilst Beaton beat Gary Stone in an eleventh leg decider.

Brendan Dolan, who beat Christian Kist 6-1 yesterday will be aiming to continue in the same sort of form when he comes up against Terry Jenkins, who comfortably booked his place yesterday with a 6-3 win over Jerry Hendriks.

Simon Whitlock will take part on what will surely be a high quality affair against Mervyn King in the penultimate game of the afternoon. The two both recorded solid victories yesterday to get this far.

Michael van Gerwen will play Dave Chsinall in the pick of the ties in the last sixteen. The two finished first and second in the league phase of the Premier League, and it will be a game littered with 180s everywhere, and probably at least one 100+ average.
