Arsenal’s European woes continue.

This diabolical performance is inexcusable, and the changes Arsene Wenger made are questionable. The decision to drop his best goal keeper has cost him dearly and has left many Arsenal fans wondering whether their manager has any ambition to actually win this competition.

Arsenal now have to try and overcome the odds to beat German giants Bayern Munich, but based on Arsenal’s last two Champions League performances this is very unlikely.

If Arsenal do fail to progress past the group stages, the pressure on both the players and the manager will be immense and will put them under more pressure to do well in the Premier League.

On the other hand, if Arsenal were to finish third in the group, this would mean they would be playing Europa League football. Arguably a great chance for Arsenal to win European silverware, albeit not as big as the Champions League, but could psychologically be a boost for the players if they were to win it.

Arsene Wenger is under huge pressure ahead of another massive game against Manchester United, can he turn things around and beat the league leaders? Or will there be more disappointment for Arsenal fans?
