Wycombe Wanderers vs Northampton Town

Wycombe are the new league leaders after Tuesday night’s win over Cambridge, whilst Northampton’s draw leaves them just outside the playoffs. The Cobblers are unbeaten in four after some impressive recent results, but Gareth Ainsworth’s side are unbeaten in three following a home defeat against Plymouth.

Plymouth Argyle vs Crawley Town

Hot on Wycombe’s heels are Plymouth, and they welcome strugglers Crawley to Home Park. The Pilgrims are unbeaten in four, including a win over Wycombe, and will be full of confidence heading into this fixture. But the same could be said for the Red Devil’s. Having failed to win in five, suffering four successive defeats, Crawley recorded a vital win on Tuesday as Mark Yates’s side ran out 3-0 winners at bottom club Newport, lifting them out of the bottom two.

Portsmouth vs Yeovil Town

Portsmouth suffered their first defeat of the season on Tuesday as Exeter recorded their first win at Fratton Park in 92 years. The result saw Paul Cook’s side relinquish top spot, but they’ll be looking to bounce back when strugglers Yeovil visit the south coast. Yeovil themselves have suffered two successive defeats since they won at Crawley, which was only the Glovers second win of their season. Paul Sturrock’s side will need to turn their fortunes around, but are the able to do it against one of the league’s promotion favourites?

Accrington Stanley vs Oxford United

Accrington are the league’s in-form side, and are unbeaten in eight after Tuesday night’s victory. John Coleman’s side have also won their last four in succession, lifting them to an unfamiliar 4th place in League Two, but their opponents Oxford have also made an impressive start to the season, losing just once. The U’s will head to Accrington full of confidence, despite winning just once from their last four games as the U’s look to continue the pressure on the sides above them.

Leyton Orient vs Notts County

Five games without a win has seen Leyton Orient lose top spot in League Two and drop to 5th. The O’s suffered their second defeat of the season on Tuesday night as Keith Curle’s Carlisle took all three points after a feisty affair. Notts had won two in succession until they were held at strugglers Dagenham on Tuesday, but it appears that Ricardo Moniz’s side have slightly bettered their fortunes as they look to progress up the table.

Dagenham and Redbridge vs Mansfield Town

Mansfield will be looking for their fourth away win in succession when Adam Murray’s Stags visit strugglers Dagenham. The Daggers haven’t won in four, and dropped into the bottom two after Tuesday night’s draw. Wayne Burnett will be hoping talisman striker Jamie Cureton can begin to find the net, as a lack of goals is a major cause for the Daggers poor start to the season.

Stevenage vs Carlisle United

Teddy Sheringham’s Stevenage have suffered three straight defeats and face a Carlisle side that won at Leyton Orient last time out. The Boro haven’t been at their best, but managed a win at home to Plymouth a few weeks back. Carlisle will be boyed on from their win at Brisbane Road, and will be looking to climb further up the table with another win.

Newport County vs Exeter City

Newport are without manager Terry Butcher after his dismissal from the South Wales club on Thursday after he led the Exiles to just one win from their opening ten games. This Saturday, they’ll be looking for a change in fortunes when Exeter visit Rodney Parade. The Grecians have just come off the back off a historic victory, their first win at Fratton Park in 92 years, condemning Pompey to their first defeat of the season. Paul Tisdale’s side have also won against Leyton Orient, so this newly managed Exiles side could be in for another tough afternoon.

Hartlepool United vs Luton Town

Hartlepool ended a seven game winless run last weekend, but suffered a heavy home defeat on Tuesday. The Pools face a Luton side that have won four of their last five games, including three on the bounce, lifting the Hatters up the table after their poor start to the season, and they’ll be full of confidence when visiting Ronnie Moore’s side.

Morecambe vs Bristol Rovers

A poor run of three games without a win has seen Morecambe relinquish their play-off position, whilst Bristol Rovers recorded their first win in six on Tuesday night after an impressive victory at Hartlepool. The Gas started the season relatively well, but their recent poor run has seen them drop, whilst it’s been the opposite for Jim Bentley’s Shrimps, who will be looking to regain some momentum in League Two.

York City vs Cambridge United

York have failed to win in four, and welcome a Cambridge side that are without goalkeeper Chris Dunn after his dismissal at Wycombe on Tuesday. The U’s have won just once in six games, and scoring goals in recent weeks has been a cause for concern, particularly after Barry Corr netted five in his first two games and hasn’t scored since.

AFC Wimbledon vs Barnet

AFC Wimbledon welcome Barnet to Kingsmeadow where the Dons are unbeaten in three. Having lost their first two home games, Neal Ardley’s side have turned the home form around, and welcome a Bees side that have lost every away game so far this season.
