West Brom stunned Premier League Champions Chelsea after a 3-0 victory at the Hawthorns including a brace from Saido Berahino, after Cesc Fabregas was sent off for Jose Mourinho’s side in the first-half.
Chelsea began the game in labourious fashion and England hopeful Berahino made them pay in the ninth minute striking the ball from 20-yards past Thibault Courtois.
It got worse for Chelsea on the half-hour when midfielder Fabregas was sent off for kicking the ball at Chris Brunt but went into half-time just the one goal behind.
The second half was barely two minutes old when John Terry hauled down Berahino in the box, and the Albion fans were sent into raptures with the striker adding his second of the game.
The champions searched for a goal to get back into the game but the tie was sealed on 60 minutes when Brunt put the ball into the back of the net from a tight angle as West Brom sealed a 3-0 victory.
