Crystal Palace are reportedly interested in a return to the club for former player and manager Steve Coppell as Director of Football.
Palace chairman Steve Parrish has openly admitted to looking into changing the structure of the club and introducing a Director of Football role to sit above the management team of Alan Pardew.
It would be a welcome return for Coppell to the club where he had numerous managerial stints and was popular amongst the Eagles fans.
Coppell is no stranger to the role of Director of Football, having previously held the role at both Crawley Town and Portsmouth in recent seasons. Millwall are also reportedly considering Coppell for a senior role at the club as they look to bounce back from relegation to League One.
Another in the frame for the possible Director of Football role at Selhurst Park include the highly thought of Nicky Hammond from Reading, who is continuously sought after.
