Barcelona right back Dani Alves has put speculation about him leaving the club by signing a new deal.
The 32 year old, who has been a recent target for Manchester United and Galatasaray amongst others, has signed a new two year deal, with an option for a years extention, with the Champions League winners.
Alves was out of contract in the summer, but the defender was offered a new deal, in which now he has accepted.
The Brazilian international joined Barcelona from Sevilla in 2008 and has gone on to make over 200 appearances for the Catalan club.
In his time with this season’s treble winners, Alves has won five La Liga titles, three Copa del Rey trophies, three Champions League finals and four Supercopa de España trophies.
But now that the full back is the wrong side of 30, it’s likely that he will end his career at the Nou Camp.
