Dutch Darts Masters Day One Preview

Evening Session:

After picking up a fair amount of prize money in his last few events, Gerwyn Price will be full of confidence kicking off the action in the evening heading into his first round clash with the eight European qualifier.

Dean Winstanley will be looking to put to an end a very poor run of form when he comes up against former BDO player Gary Stone in the first round of the competition in the second match of the evening session.

After not winning any prize money in the last month, Jamie Robinson will be very keen to make an impression in this tournament, and he begins what he hopes will be a very successful weekend against Nathan Aspinall, who made the last 32 in the UK Open this year. Two European qualifiers will face-off in the fourth match of the evening.

A successful weekend in Barnsley was Darren Webster’s last competitive outing a couple of weeks ago, and he will come up against ‘Rapid’ Ricky Evans, which will for sure be an extremely fast game of darts.

Alan Norris has managed to make the cut for the European Tour in his first year on the PDC after making the switch from the BDO, and he will be looking to kick off the Netherlands tournament with a win over the fourth and final home nations qualifier.

Kyle Anderson, on a high after finding out that he will take part in the Perth Darts Masters as an invited player will be looking to continue an already successful year with a win over the seventh European qualifier.

Wes Newton, a Premier League player just over a year ago, will not be seeded for this competition, and instead will begin his weekend on Friday evening rounding off the action against the second home nation qualifier.
