Lower league managers with future potential: Part 1 – Past Acheivers

Over the years, some of England’s greatest domestic managers have began their managerial career in the lower leagues. Some of them have worked their way up through the leagues with various club’s, whilst others have been recognized by some of England’s elite and have jumped through the divisions.

The Sports Lowdown will take a look at a number of current League One and League Two managers that we feel could, one day, be managing in the Premier League.

But first, in Part 1 of this three part series, let’s have a look at some of the managers that have achieved this feat in the past:
