CHINA PR 1 HOLLAND 0

China were extremely comfortable in the possession and attacking statistics in the game, but they found it very hard to give their noisey supporters a goal to celebrate.

China’s constant threat to Holland’s goal was never-ending with the likes of Peng Han, Jilal Tang and Lisi Wang all going close.

Holland’s best chance of the game fell to their young starlet Vivianne Miedema, and the striker, whilst under pressure, could only stab her shot wide after latching on to a superb Maren Melis pass.

The late, late winner came after Lisi controlled a long ball and then proceeded to ghost passed the Dutch defence and stabbed home which claimed the victory for Hao Wei’s side.
