Premier League and Europe 

• David De Gea edges closer to a move to Real Madrid after Manchester United snapped up Argentina goalkeeper Sergio Romero (Daily Star)
• Tottenham must decide which player out of West Brom striker Saido Berahino and Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie they want to sign due to finances (HITC)
• Swansea City are pepraring a move for Sunderland striker Stephen Fletcher if Bafatembi Gomis leaves the Liberty Stadium (Chronicle)
• Real Madrid President Florentino Pérez insists that defender Sergio Ramos won’t leave the Spanish club, despite constant speculation with a move to Manchester United (Guardian)
• Barcelona winger Pedro wants to move to Manchester United, but a deal won’t take place until the future of Angel Di Maria is resolved, with the Argentinian linked with a move to PSG (Metro)
• Danny Welbeck may make a move to Turkish side Besiktas if the Gunners seal a move for Karim Benzema or Robert Lewdanowski (Daily Star)
