2. Jasper Cillessen – Ajax
Jasper Cillessen is a new name being linked with the Manchester United goalkeeping slot but manager Louis van Gaal will know all about the 26 year old having selected him to be first choice goalkeeper for the Netherlands at the 2014 World Cup. This is despite having only been on the scene as a top class goalkeeper for a couple of seasons.
He managed to keep the vastly more experienced duo of Michel Vorm and Tim Krul out of the side and helped Holland go on to finish third in the World Cup and cementing his place as one of the fastest up and coming goalkeepers in world football today.
At just 26 years old he has a long spell in between the sticks in front of him and the only worry that van Gaal will have is if he is ready to jump on the biggest stage of them all. Still a relative newcomer, there is little experience in the Champions League and the fans may want a more established name. However there is no denying that Cillessen will continue to make a name for himself and could quite conceivably be that World Class goalkeeper they are looking for.
