One game into the season and it’s panic stations at Stamford Bridge according to some. An opening day draw against Swansea City may not be the ideal start to the season but there is no need to panic, after all your manager is the ‘Special One’ Jose Mourinho.
For many football fans across the world, if they jumped on the internet on Saturday evening and saw Chelsea had only managed to draw 2-2 with Gary Monk’s side, you’d have raised an eyebrow. The next morning you’d also expect to see talk of how they were unlucky in the paper’s, which was something they were not but you’d hardly expect after one game to see panic stations set in.
You could arguably say Chelsea were both a mixture of unlucky and lucky but they have been known to be slow starters in the past and once Mourinho and the boys have had a few games to get into their style and groove, you will see the normal service resume at Stamford Bridge.
That being said, there are a few area’s of discussion that Chelsea fans will want to mull over these next few days and we will highlight some area’s that could crop up over the next few weeks and Chelsea fans may want to see either answers or actions to these, so please read on and see if you think these are valid cases for concern for Jose Mourinho and Chelsea.
