Arsene Wenger has now been in charge of Arsenal for almost 20 years and has enjoyed a lot of success in his long spell at the club. He has won three league titles and six FA Cups, and has also ensured Arsenal play Champions League football year in year out.
However the end of his reign is looming and many are wondering who would be able to replace the Frenchman as the Arsenal boss.
There’s no doubt that Arsene Wenger will be a hard act to follow, maybe an impossible act to follow, but here are five potential replacements for Arsenal’s most successful manager in their history.
1.Ronald Koeman
Although Koeman doesn’t have a great deal of experience, he has a very good track record of replacing teams that were once successful. A trait which would be necessary being Arsene Wenger’s successor. Koeman has proven he has what it takes to manage in the Premier League, although it is unclear as to how he would perform in charge of a top English club.
