Head to Head

As they are in the same Division they play each other twice every season. The Jets have won 51 matches with the Dolphins winning 47 matches and there has been 1 tie between the two teams. This weeks meeting will be the 100th between the teams.

The Match up

The Miami Dolphins have no injuries at the moment so they will have a full 1st team playing. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill has had a good start with 882 yards and 5 touchdowns for 3 interceptions at a 61.4% completion rate. This isn’t too bad but only an average of 17 points per game isn’t good as they have an average of 23 points against them.

The New York Jets have a 2-1 record this season and no current injuries. They lost 24-17 last week to the Eagles but were unlucky not to win as could have nicked the win in the last few moments. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has 706 yards for 6 touchdowns this season and they have managed an average of 23 points per game which is good as they have an average of 16 points against them.

It will be a close and fiercely fought match but the Jets should come out victors as they have a stronger offense than the Dolphins defense. However what we do know is that Wembley is in for a good game.
