• Chelsea have been informed that they will need to pay £57 million to land French international Paul Pogba though Barcelona are considered frontrunners for the Juventus midfielder (London24)
• Galatasaray have reportedly agreed a €2.5 million fee with Arsenal for their out of favour German International Lukas Podolski who spent last season on loan at Inter Milan (Vital Football)
• West Ham have confirmed their interest in signing Carl Jenkinson on loan again for the season despite interest from Sunderland who are also looking at the highly rated fullback (101 Great Goals)
• Juventus have increased their bid for Chelsea midfielder Oscar to £19.8 million who could replace Paul Pogba who is looking increasingly likely to leave the Turin based side (Express)
• Manchester United are reported to have had a a £20 million bid rejected for Morgan Schneiderlin despite rumours of the deal being near completion (AstralFootball)
• Southampton have opened talks with Atletico Madrid about a permanent deal for Toby Alderweireld who spent last season on loan at St Mary’s Stadium (Clubcall)
• Martin Montoya is set to join Italian giants Inter Milan from La Liga champions Barcelona on a two-year loan deal to get much needed game time (GiveMeSport)
• George Friend has reportedly turned down the interest of Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and West Brom to pledge his future to Middlesbrough (HITC)
• Leicester look set to miss out on the signing of Caen midfielder N’Golo Kante after the sacking of manager Nigel Pearson who was keen on the player (Talksport)
• Tim Sherwood is another manager looking towards the French Ligue 1 with a reported £9 million bid for Idrissa Gueye gone in for the Lille midfielder (Talksport)
• Thomas Mueller would consider an offer from Manchester United if Bayern Muich allowed the Red Devils to talk to him should they meet their valuation (Independent)
